CRN Names Park Place to 2021 MSP 500, Elite 150 Lists

February 16, 2021

Cleveland, OH February 16, 2021 – Park Place Technologies announced today that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named Park Place to its 2021 Managed Service Provider (MSP) 500 list in the Elite 150 category. The list, released annually, recognizes the leading North American solution providers that have demonstrated innovative and forward-thinking approaches to managed services. These services help end users improve operational efficiencies and navigate the ongoing complexities of IT solutions, while maximizing their return on IT investments.

This is the fourth consecutive year Park Place has been named to the Elite 150.

With cutting-edge approaches to delivering managed services, MSPs have become an integral part of the success of businesses worldwide. They help empower organizations to leverage complex technologies, keeping a strict focus on their core business without straining their budgets. CRN’s 2021 MSP 500 list identifies the market’s key managed services players who are setting themselves apart with best-of-breed solutions that provide the business outcomes customers need.

The MSP 500 list is divided into three sections: the MSP Pioneer 250, recognizing companies with business models weighted toward managed services and largely focused on the SMB market; the MSP Elite 150, recognizing large, data center-focused MSPs with a strong mix of on-premises and off-premises services; and the Managed Security 100, recognizing MSPs focused primarily on off-premises and cloud-based security services.

Park Place, which is currently celebrating its 30th anniversary, has been an industry-leading innovator in simplifying IT date center infrastructure management. Its development of Discovery, Monitor, Support and Optimize (DMSO) has revolutionized the TPM filed with such offerings as ParkView™ Managed Services, Entuity software, and our Enterprise Operations Center. In November 2020, Park Place acquired Curvature, resulting in the creation of the world’s largest TPM, with the industry’s largest badged field service team; more than 1.15 million spare parts accessible from 2,400+ stocking locations worldwide; and access to Park Place’s multilingual, 24-hour support centers supporting 154 countries in 170 languages.

Park Place has also differentiated its service through such customer experience tools as the Central Park customer portal, which allows asset sorting, real-time ticket monitoring and the ability to add and delete contracted items; the PPTech Mobile app, which allows access to the Central Park portal through any mobile device; a tracker that offers real-time tracking as engineers and parts are dispatched; a First-Time Fix Guarantee, and a new podcast, “The Blue Couch Tech Sessions,” which brings industry analysts and experts to a monthly discussion on innovation.

“I am thrilled that Park Place Technologies is once again honored for excellence in our portfolio of data center services products,” said Jeff McCullough, Global VP of Channel Sales for Park Place. “I am especially proud that The Channel Company recognizes the importance of our business to channel partners. Our partners are a critical part of our growth strategy, and we look forward to continuing to delight our customers with the products and services Park Place and our partners deliver together.”

McCullough was recently named to the 2021 CRN Channel Chiefs List.

“Effective MSPs enable companies to focus on their core objectives while improving the quality and reliability of their cloud computing capabilities,” said Blaine Raddon, CEO of The Channel Company. “The solution providers on CRN’s 2021 MSP 500 list deserve recognition for their innovative and forward-thinking approaches to managed services, and the ability to optimize operational efficiencies and systems to maximize return on investments.”

The MSP 500 list will be featured in the February 2021 issue of CRN and online at www.CRN.com/msp500.
